Are you an artist looking for a suitable location to present your work to the public? The mill gallery at the historic Mönchmühle in Mühlenbecker Land offers just the right atmosphere: rustic, charming and steeped in history. It doesn't matter whether you pursue your art purely as a hobby or consider yourself a (semi-)professional. All art forms are welcome: painting, photography, sculpture, wickerwork, pottery, handicrafts, etc. We are currently searching for artists for the temporary summer exhibition in 2026 (July to September). The Historische Mönchmühle (‘Historical Friar’s Mill’) is one of the oldest water mills in the state of Brandenburg. Built around 1230 by the Cistercian friars of Lehnin Abbey, it has been destroyed by fire and rebuilt several times. Today, it serves as a cultural meeting place for art exhibitions and events of all kinds. |
